'B' Grade placemats are made from slate that has a higher amount of pyrite (Fools Gold) than what we deem acceptable for an 'A' grade placemat. This is generally more than 5 spots of fools gold. Some customers actually preffer the more rustic look that fools gold brings to the placemat.
Serve up sophisticated style dining in your home or restaurant. Each placemat is individually hand cut allowing for a natural and completely unique finish. Treated to resist staining and fitted with protective pads on the underside to prevent scratches. This stunning addition to your home will look great in a modern or traditional setting.
